Ah, finally finished this sucker. :3 Spent one full month going on and off of this painting since the speed paint of this: [link]
Probably spent around 15 to 20 hours on this. Sorry if the background is horrible. Will fix it later when I get back to this.
Anyways, this is my version of a mere (or mermaid if you want to call her that). It's not a half woman, half fish just being slapped together by the waist.
And I tried to make the light from the ocean ripple to appear. Apparently I failed. Horribly. At least I got the green algae in the water... >>;;
And yes, that's a shark behind her. Thanks for noticing my childish attempt of it. Like I said, I'm going to go back to it and make it better.
